new mount and buck weather vane

My new Buck weather vane was a Christmas present, it was delivered as promised and packaged beautifully. When my husband attempted to put it up, changing out our old weathervane, which was a resin type model that was denigrating over the last 17 years, he learned that the mounts were different. We ordered the new mount from Good Directions and had a nice conversation with the person who answered our call. Once the new mount was received, it was installed and we have a beautiful new weathervane that our neighbors have been admiring! The perfect gift

We have two little grandchildren at just that perfect age to begin teaching some of the most important life lessons like respect, trust, and appreciation. Along with the book and birdhouse, we gifted them a beginner pair of binoculars and a bird ID book to get them excited about watching a real bird family in action.
