Ordered a beautiful eagle weathervane as a gift for my husband. Upon arrival, I realized we would prefer to mount it on our deck wall. Contacted Good Directions and received guidance and excellent customer service regarding our needs. We highly recommend the products and the excellent customer service. Looking to see what my next purchase may be!
This birdbath is beautiful and extremely well made. I originally purchased the 13.5" Beaded Hanging Copper Bird Bath but now use it as a feeder. The birds are enjoying both.
Absolutely love our six new weathervanes we recently purchased from Good Directions. They are definitely a step up from our usual collection of lawn junk (I mean lawn art)
We got this for a Christmas present for our garden loving mom and she absolutely loves it! It looks great in her backyard and was a good size and easily adjustable! Definitely would recommend for spiffing up any backyard in a whimsical way!
My husband loved this...he used to have a sailboat and now we live on the river. Well made and easy to put together. Just make sure you have the top pole with the curved side toward the top.
As you may have wondered, as I did, about the design and efficacy, your thoughts are well-founded. Like a tire swing, the feed level is capped by the volume that the "tire" will hold as it hangs. And, what about the rainwater infiltrating the seed? How about the attraction to your squirrel population? Well, the quantity of seed is more than you'd imagine. And, the industrious birds don't mind diving in for those morsels when the level drops! As for rainwater, there is a drain hole, and the rain shade above the holes is wider than I expected, so any but driving storms will be an issue. As for the squirrels, it took them about a day to determine the best way to suspend themselves to get their fill (as I expected) so I will be adding a baffle (which will help with the rain, too). I will admit that I am thrilled about two observations I did not anticipate: (1) My Cardinals absolutely LOVE this feeder, and (2) observing the chickadees and nuthatches fly in one side, grab a seed, and fly out the other is way more fun to watch than I imagined. The cherry on top is that I grabbed this feeder for free during a Christmas special is the cherry on top! Except for the squirrel challenge, I think I'm going to get all available colors to create a theme park for the birds! Thanks to the artisans at Good Directions!
Chai was very helpful in getting my order corrected after I forgot to order the lid.
My husband wanted a copper bird bath for Christmas. He is very hard to please. He loved the quality and the esthetics. Added plus, it was heavy! When he is happy, I am happy. Great job. You made me look good. Thank you,
Lexi
We are very satisfied but I have a question
We got the roof unfinished is there a way we can order a metal or copper roof so we can finish it?
My number is on our order
I love my new bird bath! It is lovely, easy to clean and sturdy so the wind doesn’t blow it over.
These were purchased as a Christmas gift. They arrived in a timely fashion. I put them together just before Christmas. They were easy to assembly, though the packing might have been a little hard to get through (I understand the need for this). Three of the four went together fine; the other stake does not go fully together and the torch did not fit as tightly on it. The torches seem to be made of a nice quality. My only overall disappointment was the chain on the topper...seems of a much lower quality to the rest of the torch.
Great base for the weathervane I got. Very sturdy!
We cannot say enough great things about Good Directions! We ordered a really nice-looking rooster weathervane, which unfortunately and unexpectedly snapped, and the company immediately helped us out and made it right. They even went a step further to reach out and make sure we were happy with the new one. We would absolutely buy from this company again. It is so hard to find good customer service these days (sometimes you can't even get a human), but this family-run business reminds you of the "good ole' days." We love our weathervane and are so pleased with this business. Thank you!
The cupola arrived on time and I was very pleased with the quality workmanship. Would highly recommend this product!
And just what I was looking for——almost!
I bought this birdbath to replace a copper birdbath I'd had in the past. Great low-to-the-ground bath for my feathered friends! The curved legs on this one are very pretty! BUT—here's also a slight curve/angle where the legs attach to the circle that supports the birdbath. Unfortunately, that makes it difficult to attach the legs evenly, and firmly, and as a result all of the legs wobble. Which makes it a little difficult to place the birdbath evenly on the ground so it can be filled to capacity. Why not have a stand just like this one, same shape and design, but from a single piece of metal? I have a plant stand like that. It's probably more expensive to manufacture, but maybe worth it? Still, I'm happy to have this!
The Pine Trees Weathervane is installed in an enclosed porch as decoration and mounted using the Good Directions small 5" stainless steel mounting bracket. The larger 12" one would have allowed the directionals to be perpendicular as normal. We wanted the placement a little tighter to the wall. We decided to paint the bracket black and the baseplate wall color to blend in so the weathervane is the first thing seen and not the mounting. The directionals are re-notched allowing them to sit atop each other with normal spacing so they would be positioned allowing the weathervane to be closer to the wall. It adds to the feel of the room and is something people really seem to be pleasantly surprised to see. We have a Cupola and weathervane on a detached garage that people comment on as well. Once inside the usual response is, Oh that's cool!

Excellent quality, great price and fast delivery.
I didn't think I needed an extension until I went to install my cupola and weathervane. This works great. This company makes beautiful products, highly recommended!
