The cupola arrived on time and I was very pleased with the quality workmanship. Would highly recommend this product!
And just what I was looking for——almost!
I bought this birdbath to replace a copper birdbath I'd had in the past. Great low-to-the-ground bath for my feathered friends! The curved legs on this one are very pretty! BUT—here's also a slight curve/angle where the legs attach to the circle that supports the birdbath. Unfortunately, that makes it difficult to attach the legs evenly, and firmly, and as a result all of the legs wobble. Which makes it a little difficult to place the birdbath evenly on the ground so it can be filled to capacity. Why not have a stand just like this one, same shape and design, but from a single piece of metal? I have a plant stand like that. It's probably more expensive to manufacture, but maybe worth it? Still, I'm happy to have this!
The Pine Trees Weathervane is installed in an enclosed porch as decoration and mounted using the Good Directions small 5" stainless steel mounting bracket. The larger 12" one would have allowed the directionals to be perpendicular as normal. We wanted the placement a little tighter to the wall. We decided to paint the bracket black and the baseplate wall color to blend in so the weathervane is the first thing seen and not the mounting. The directionals are re-notched allowing them to sit atop each other with normal spacing so they would be positioned allowing the weathervane to be closer to the wall. It adds to the feel of the room and is something people really seem to be pleasantly surprised to see. We have a Cupola and weathervane on a detached garage that people comment on as well. Once inside the usual response is, Oh that's cool!
