Beautiful hammered copper birdbath!

And just what I was looking for——almost!
I bought this birdbath to replace a copper birdbath I'd had in the past. Great low-to-the-ground bath for my feathered friends! The curved legs on this one are very pretty! BUT—here's also a slight curve/angle where the legs attach to the circle that supports the birdbath. Unfortunately, that makes it difficult to attach the legs evenly, and firmly, and as a result all of the legs wobble. Which makes it a little difficult to place the birdbath evenly on the ground so it can be filled to capacity. Why not have a stand just like this one, same shape and design, but from a single piece of metal? I have a plant stand like that. It's probably more expensive to manufacture, but maybe worth it? Still, I'm happy to have this!

Follow up to first review

The company contacted me after seeing my review and looked into it and sent me a replacement which was much sturdier (and pre-assembled!). Thank you all!

Love It!

This well crafted and designed copper bath is not only well made but also a beautiful addition to our garden art. We also bought a taller bird bath to match. Both are well loved and enjoyed by our birds, chipmunks, squirrels and deer.

Pretty but flimsy

The copper bowl is pretty but very thin and lightweight. The stand cannot be assembled for true stability. The screw holes are drilled at the wrong angle for attaching the legs and the screws are so cheap that the heads strip as soon as you apply any screwdriver pressure. It's iin the garden but I am not thrilled.

Beautiful, Functional, and Happy Birds

So far, I've bought two Freestanding Copper Birdbaths.

I'm planning to add more for various areas of my garden where I can enjoy bird antics while tending garden beds that I can't see from my house.

FAQs

What material is your bird bath made of?

Most of Good Directions’ bird baths are made of high-quality copper, which provides a beautiful appearance, ensures durability, and develops a natural patina over time. Copper birdbaths are preferred, as they naturally resist bacteria and algae growth and add an elegant touch to your garden space.
