I used to put copper Pennie’s in my birdbath to keep the algae away but with this new one I haven’t had a problem yet. I but it on the ground and the birds and squirrels love it too.
We originally ordered a different bird bath the copper with the fairy but when it arrive it had a bunch of dents in it from shipping. I contacted Good Directions informing them of the damage and Chai responded immediately. She helped me by replacing it with another bird bath right away and I requested this hammered copper one instead. She was responsive, helpful and very caring. Do not hesitate to order from this company because they stand by their product and will go beyond to make things right. I love the bird bath it looks beautiful in front of my house and well made. Everything fits together tightly and is well designed.
Too early to tell. The product arrived on time and in good consition. The pruduct was easy to apply. It will take time to how the product will protect the lattern from the elements.
I had trouble with cats attacking birds in the standard, stationary birdbath that I have, so I wanted something that elevated the birdbath higher. This is perfect. It's well-made, looks great, and solved the problem. It takes a few days for the birds to adjust to it, but they do. Thanks
After having several hanging glass birdbaths that broke I gave up on that idea. Still, I had a hook between two buildings ready for a birdbath.
As I explored options I couldn’t stop thinking about the fired copper hanging birdbath. Once ordered I patiently awaited its arrival.
It arrived fast AND with free shipping. The box the birdbath arrived in looked to be trampled in a mosh pit. Unfortunately this very perfect copper birdbath had quite the dent. (Not at fault was Good Directions as the item was packaged extremely well.) They had no control over the slam dance stop on the way to the west coast.
I reached out to Good Directions customer service Matt explaining what happened along with photos. It was not a problem for them and soon a replacement was on the way.
Since I haven’t told the birds who use the bath there has been no comment on the dent. It holds water, is stunningly beautiful and very functional. I am thrilled with how this company handled my problem.
Since I have quite a large area that supports birds, bees, bugs and critters the second birdbath is truly a splurge I would not have made.
