34" Smithsonian Eagle Estate Weathervane
Love my 956P recently installed. Mine is mounted using 3 of the steel rod protruding down threw our top story composite shingles and locked in tight to our attic wood structural members.
Issue- When wind speeds exceed +/- 15 MPH, the play between the brass rod that's brazed to the bird underside which drops down onto the steel rod generates a clanking noise because of the gap. The clanking noise is transferred through the steel rods to the roof structural members and into the house. This is an issue.
Solution- A strong sealed bearing mechanism incorporated in the lower supporting steel rods with a male thread and female thread on each end combined with filling of the previously mention gap with silicone cauking.
Received item in timely manner. Quality appears to be excellent and certain will look great once installed.
Service was excellent. Called and spoke with Brianna who was polite, knowledgeable and patient. Answered all questions clearly and even helped save us money by making certain recommendations.
Definitely a company we would recommend.
Firstly a shout out to Matt & Team for support & arranging urgent delivery to receive my order within a week as was leaving the country.
Though the website says delivery in 24 hrs, I took for granted that would receive the product in next 24 to 48 hrs which was not the case.
Paid additional sum for UPS 3 Day Select service to the West Coast - order date 22-Apr & received on 27-Apr .
Also was unaware the subject product is not made in the USA but manufactured in another part of the world, later understood this is US design only.
My best to Gooddirections.
The blue verde eagle and directions are gorgeous!!! The pix did justice to the articles. We eagerly awaiting spring, the new roof and our weather vane! It will look great on our beach cottage on Puget Sound, Washington. We will be the envy of all the neighbors. The staff at Go0d directions were very personable and helpful. Thank you!!!!
