Post Weathervane Bracket

Exactly what we needed to put our weathervane on a 4x4 post. Great quartz.

I purchased this bracket to mount a vintage barn weather vane on the corner of our pergola. I liked its heavy construction and the upright pipe to receive the shaft of the weather vane. Four long construction screws assures it is not going anywhere and will stand up to rough weather. After screwing the weather vane in place, I squeezed some silicone around the shaft so water won't drip down inside the bracket. Now, we can just sit back and enjoy it.
